Dr. Gambrell
A native of Columbia, South Carolina, Dr. Gambrell graduated from Airport High School, with honors, in 1992. He graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of South Carolina in 1996. Dr. Gambrell graduated with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree (DMD) from the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), Charleston, SC in 2001.
In 2001 he was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Epsilon Honor Dental Society, which is an honor given to the top ten percent of the current dental students in the graduating class.
Dr. Gambrell stayed in Charleston the following year to complete a postgraduate residency in advanced education in general dentistry at MUSC. This residency provided extensive experience with restoring dental implants and overall comprehensive dental care. Dr. Gambrell has been a certified provider for Invisalign since 2003 and a CEREC same-day crown dentist since 2003.
Dr. Reznick
Dr. Reznick graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in 2011. After dental school, he served in the Army as a General Dentist until 2022. In 2018 he continued his education and completed an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency with the Army. In 2022, Dr. Reznick and his family moved to New Zealand, where he practiced as a Dental Surgeon until June 2025. Following their return to the United States, he joined Elite Smiles Dental.
Dr. Young
Dr. Young graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina in 1999 and completed a one year AEGD Residency Program at the University of Florida School of Dentistry. He owned a private practice in Lexington until 2015, then transitioned into corporate dentistry for several years before joining Dr. Gambrell’s private practice. Dr. Young is also a native of Columbia, SC.
Dr. Gregory
Dr. Susan Gregory grew up in Camden, South Carolina, where her love for dentistry began after shadowing her local dentist in high school. After graduating from the University of South Carolina – Go Gamecocks! – she went on to earn her dental degree from the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in Charleston.
Always eager to learn and explore new opportunities, Dr. Gregory completed advanced dental training in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, before returning home to Columbia to establish her own private practice.
As a proud mother of three, Dr. Gregory feels incredibly blessed by the many ways dentistry has enriched her life. She is grateful for the opportunity to care for her patients and build meaningful relationships along the way.

Dr. Barney
Dr. Weston Barney was born and raised in Salt Lake City, UT. He served a two-year church service mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, where he learned Spanish as a second language and speaks it fluently. He attended the University of Utah, where he graduated with his degree in kinesiology. Dr. Barney then went on to attend the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in Kentucky, where he graduated near the top of his class with Cum Laude honors. He takes pride in serving the people of South Carolina with their dental needs, ensuring every visit is comfortable and pain-free.
Dr. Barney is happily married to his wife Cassidy and together have two little boys, Calum and Rhodes. He and his wife are world travelers and have visited numerous countries across the globe. They came to South Carolina looking for warmer temperatures and sunshine, not to mention year-round golf for Dr. Barney! In his free time, he loves spending time with his wife and two boys, being very active. He is also an avid golfer, gym-goer, and lover of all things sports. He cannot wait to meet you and take care of your dental needs.
